Today we will tell you how to make Chicken Satay. The ingredients which are used in making this recipe are mentioned below. Please follow the same procedure and give your feedback in the comment section.


  • Chicken fillet ½ kg
  • Soya sauce ¼ cup
  • Honey 2 tbsp.
  • Curry powder 2 tbsp.
  • Grated ginger
  • Salt 1 tsp.
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp.
  • Roasted cumin seeds 1 tsp.


For Peanut Sauce:

  • Peanut butter ½ cup
  • Coconut milk 1 cup
  • Chili sauce 2 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp.
  • Turmeric powder ¼ tsp.
  • Ginger/garlic 1 tsp.


For Garnishing:

  • Chopped peanuts (roasted)
  • Cucumber slices


  • Soak 20 wooden skewers in cold water for about minutes.
  • Cut the chicken into thick flat strips of about 6 cm (2 inches) long and 2 cm (1 inch) wide.
  • Thread a strip of chicken. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Put all the ingredients of peanut sauce in a heavy-base pan with ½ cup water. Stir over low heat until the mixture boils. Remove from heat.
  • Heat a BBQ grill or char grill. Brush sticks with oil.
  • Cook each side for 2-3 minutes or fry in 2 tbsp. oil.
  • Top with peanut sauce and garnish with chopped peanuts and cucumber.
